By Angel Quinones

The Air Jordan Retro 4 is upon us this Saturday, February 13, 2016. This will be the 3rd time that this shoe retroed since its initial release back in 1989. This year’s model is definitely a classic, which is said to be designed as close to the OG model as possible. The first pair debuted in 1989, with the second edition released in 1999. These were followed by the 3rd model in 2012, and now the highly anticipated fourth coming this weekend. One unique feature of the 2012 model which makes it stand out is that it was designed the with the iconic Jumpman logo on the heel instead the Swoosh.

In addition, its been the shoe of choice for Michael Jordan in a number of advertisement campaigns, and his friend/Director Spike Lee centered a scene around this shoe in his 1989 film “Do The Right Thing.”
