The sneaker business is on fire and is probably not going to slow down anytime soon.
According to industry Matt Powell, the footwear sales grew by $200M in September to an astonishing $1.4B, which he attributes in part to back-to-school shopping. Nike’s revenues alone jumped to $8.31B in September.
Much of the growth, 54% to be exact came from the Nike/Jordan brand. Sketchers came in second with 6% share.
Were you one of the fellow sneaker-heads who attributed to the growth? We hope so! You have to stay on point with the latest releases.
