The Air Jordan XVII ‘Copper’ is returning this year, and this is the first official retro we have seen of the Air Jordan XVII (except the Countdown Pack version from 2008).

Today, we get a look at what we maybe receiving from Jordan Brand later in 2016….

Inspired by the luxury of the Aston Martin and improvisation in jazz, the Air Jordan XVII came with a removable shroud to cover the lacing system. One of the more memorable colorways was this Copper.

Jordan XVII which featured a luxurious croc-skin on the heel while copper accents hit the lace eyelets and branding throughout to match Mike’s Wizards uniform at the time.

The Air Jordan XVII (OG) was inspired by Michael and designed by Wilson Smith III. They came in a case with a CD and a special metal briefcase.

Tech specs for the Air Jordan XVII include herringbone traction, an Air unit housed within a TPU heel cage, and a Zoom unit embedded in the forefoot. Various materials are used depending on the colorway of the shoe in this case, leather is used “Copper”
